Fine William & Mary Period Walnut Bureau Bookcase
A Fine William & Mary figured walnut bureau bookcase.c.1700. Book matched veneers and cross banding throughout. Well fitted interior with an inset leather writing surface. Candle slides above. Fielded panels to the bookcase top with adjustable shelves to the interior. Two drawers above a waisted moulded trim and three long drawers below. Brass drop fittings. Original bracket feet. Nice figured walnut veneers to the sides. Herringbone cross banding throughout. Superb colour and patina to the walnut veneers. Measures 38.5"wide x 33" x 79" high.
