Fine Victorian Rosewood Inlaid Striking Mantel Clock
A fine late Victorian rosewood inlaid striking mantel clock with brass fittings c.1890. Porcelain convex dial with matching convex glass brass opening bezel door. 8 Day French pendulum driven movement, striking on a gong to the hour and half. Superb rosewood shaped top case with fruitwood and satinwood foliage inlay to the front. Brass carry " x " deep x handles to the sides, and standing on shaped bracket feet. Superb colour and condition. Full working order. Measures 8.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 11" high. Stock no. 38123.
