Fine Victorian Oil Painting by William Mellor 'On the Nidd'
A Fine Victorian oil on canvas painting by well regarded artist, William Mellor Senior (1851-1890). On the River Nidd, Knaresborough. c.1890. Highland cattle going to water on a summer's day. Very well painted and good colours. Set in a gilt antique frame. Signed lower right and inscribed to the rear. Oil measures 23" x 15.5", overall 28" x 20.5"x 2".
