Fine Sheraton Inlaid Weight Driven Grandmother Clock
A Fine Late Victorian mahogany Sheraton inlaid Grandmother clock.c.1900. Silvered engraved arched top dial to the 8 Day weight driven movement. Strikes on a gong to the hour and half. Fruitwood and satinwood inlay to the case door, flanked by canted corners. Blind fretwork decoration and shaped top hood. Matching inlay to the stepped base,standing on bracket feet. Superb colour and patina. Full working order. Stands 68"high, very slim proportions.
