A Fine Regency period rosewood 8 Day striking Library clock.c.1825. Original gilded engraved dial with maker's name, William Payne* of New Bond Street, London (w.1816-25 at this address). Silk suspension to the bell chiming movement. Beveled glasses to the polished case. Standing on bracket feet. Superb quality and condition. Full working order. measures 7.25" x 6.25"deep x 11"high. * William Payne clock supplier to the Royal family.
