Fine Queen Anne Period Figured Walnut Chest on Stand
A Fine Queen Anne period figured walnut chest on stand.c.1710. Three short over three long drawers to the moulded cornice top. Concealed cushion shaped drawer below the cornice. Moulded trims to the surrounds. Sat on the original base, with a shaped apron to the underside. Turned leg supports down to a swept under carriage base and bun feet. Book matched veneers throughout and herringbone cross banding. Original brass fittings. Superb colour, condition and patina. Measures 41.5" x 23"deep x 69.5"high. Stock no.32484.
