Fine Quality Victorian Silver Bread Basket
A fine quality Victorian solid silver bread basket with wire work sides and swing handle, hallmarked Sheffield 1900. The heavy silver base with oval raised gadrooned decoration to the centre, flat thin strips of silver forming wire work style sides. Reeded frame with rounded corners forming the upper edge with handles at either end, swing handle set to centre the with matching reeded design decoration. Bears the makers mark for Sheffield silversmiths Harrison Brothers & Howson along with clear hallmarks. Beautifully made with hallmarks to all sections and presented in imm...aculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 9.5" long x 7" deep x 2.5" high or 7.25" high with handle up. Stock number 39961.
