A fine quality Victorian German solid silver table box with enamel scene to the lid and immaculate gilded interior c.1890. The solid silver box in oblong form with hinged top and clipped corn...ers. The lid enamelled with an outstanding quality scene of a young couple sat under a tree; silver outer band with a broad black enamel band to the inner edge. The edge with finely engraved leaf design, polished sides and base. The lid opening aided by a gold flange to the front to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior along with German silver marks. The finest quality, presented in immaculate condition. Measures 2" long x 1.25" deep x 0.75" high. Stock number 39168.
