Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Secretaire Tallboy Chest
A fine quality solid mahogany secretaire tallboy chest with superb fitted interior C.1880. Figured timber top with crossbanded and ebony strung edge, sat over six graduated drawers with matching ebony stringing. The second and third drawers down concealing a fall front secretaire, opening to form a writing surface, the back section fitted with satinwood veneered drawers and pigeon holes. Sat on a bracket foot plinth. Original decorative gilt brass drop fittings and a superb deep polish. The best quality presented in immaculate condition. Measures 50.5" high x 27" wide x 18" deep.
