A fine quality early Victorian caromandel tantalus box with unusual roll out tray to the interior with original cut crystal decanters c.1870. The polished caromandel exterior with walnut banded edges,... original brass carry handles to the sides. The hinged top opening to reveal a superb fitted and satinwood lined interior. The front falling allowing the roll out tantalus tray to roll out on small castors running on brass insets. Carry handles inset to the sides of the tray for ease of moving. Original cut crystal hobnail cut decanters with matching stoppers in mint condition. Working Bramah lock and key. A most unusual item, finest quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 9.5" wide x 9.5" deep x 11" high. Stock number 37010.
