A fine quality and heavy solid silver grape dish with decorative grape vine fretted boarder, hallmarked Sheffield 1938. The solid silver shallow dish oval in form with a star shaped centre surround...ed by a superb fretted boarder in the form of a grape vine. Intertwined vines with leaves set in between and bunches of grapes cast to the outer edge. Oval foot to the base with flared rim, bears the makers mark for highly regarded Sheffield silversmiths Atkin Brothers. Weighing in at over 700 grams and presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 12" wide x 9" deep x 2.75" high. Stock number CS176.
