A large fine quality skeletonised marine barometer with twin crescent thermometers C.1885. The dished polished bronze case with hanging loop to the top. Skeletonised rapid indicating movement set to the centre with engraved silvered scale set around the edge. Twin crescent thermometers to the bottom of the scale, the left alcohol thermometer reading in centigrade and the right mercury action thermometer reading in Fahrenheit. Bears the retailers name Casterelli, Manchester to the dial. Fully overhauled and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 8.5" diameter x ...2.25" deep.
