Fine Quality Regency Mahogany Lamp Table
A fine quality Regency figured mahogany lamp and work table with decorative pedestal in the manner of Gillow c.1830. The square top with figured veneers and crossbanding and a moulded edg...e with rounded corners. Two drawers below, both with ring turned beaded decoration to the edges, the shallow top drawer with internal divisions for needlework items, the lower double depth drawer for storage of needlework. Sat on a turned pedestal base with decorative carved mount sat above a tripod base, each foot with brass claw mounts and original castors below. Polished to all four sides for free standing if required, presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 16.5" wide x 17" deep x 31" high.
