Fine Quality Mid Victorian Burr Walnut Work Table
A fine quality mid Victorian antique burr walnut work table with inlaid top and well fitted satinwood interior C.1870. Book matched burr veneers to the top with decorative fruitwood stringing and moulded edge. Carved capitals to the matching carved topped legs supported by a swept cross stretcher. Silk covered wool basket to the centre. Hinged top opening to reveal a satinwood fitted interior with fretwork compartment covers. Sat on original brass on porcelain castors. Superb rich colour and polish. Measures 23" wide x 15" deep x 28" high. Stock number 34114.
