A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut demi lune fold over gaming table with superb carved under carriage c.1875. The half round top with book matched burr veneers and moulded edge, small de...corative round elbows set to the front edge. Shallow apron mirroring the top set below. The undercarriage with four serpentine supports and scroll work carved relief supporting the surface. Central rose with carved crest, four carved swept feet with original castors set to the corners. The surface opening and revolving to form a gaming table with green baize surface surround by a burr veneered outer edge. Presented in superb original condition with a superb polish and new baize surface. Ideal also as a side table. Measures 38" maximum width x 18" deep x 27" high. Stock number 39256.
