A fine quality Victorian brass cased marine barometer by highly regarded Edinburgh instrument maker Adie c.1885. The dished brass case with original patinated lacquered finish in excellent conditio...n, hanging loop to the top. Aneroid movement sat behind a white enamel dial bearing the makers name, glazed view window with central reading marker sat over the top. Presented in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 5" diameter x 6.25" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 36998.
