A fine quality Victorian mother of pearl inlaid rosewood banjo barometer with silvered dial and mercury action movement c.1880. Fine quality case work with extensive floral mother of pearl inlaid decoration. Fine quality silvered dial and matching thermometer scale. Fully restored mercury action movement with matching working mercury thermometer. Polished brass bezel with bevel edge glass and remote reading marker. Bears the makers name, Rizzi, Leeds to the dial. Fully overhauled and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 40" long x 10" wide x 1.5" deep. Stoc...k number 36734.
