Fine Quality Inlaid Mahogany Mantel Clock
A fine quality Victorian inlaid mahogany cased mantel clock with French movement c.1890. The unusual balloon shaped case with small ears set to either side of the dial, two original polished brass urn shaped finials to each side. The front inlaid with a Sheraton sunburst and strung with fruitwood. Moulded plinth to the base with small brass bun feet below. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Original matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel sat over the top. Fully overhauled movement and... presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 8.5" high x 7.5" wide x 3.5" deep. Stock number 39259.
