A fine quality solid silver novelty stamp case in the form of a book, hallmarked Birmingham 1911. Solid silver polished sides forming the front and rear of the book, the rear edge fashioned t...o resemble a book spine with superb detail. The edges engraved to imitate the pages of a book, the edge folding out to reveal an internal compartment with securing strap to hold the stamps; hanging loop to the top corner. Bears the makers mark for Chrisford & Norris specialists in this type of item, presented in immaculate condition. Measures 1" high x 0.75" wide x 0.25" deep. Stock number 38865.
