A fine quality George III silver pint tankard with unusual heart shaped terminus to the handle, hallmarked London 1784. The hand formed vessel has an engraved floral wreath to the side with initials to the centre, hand chased boarders to the rim and base; sat on a collet foot. The stylish scroll design handle with unusual heart shaped terminus at the end. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith William Sumner along with clear hallmarks, weighs in at 10.6 oz, and is presented in superb condition with deep polish. Measures 5.5" wide inclu...ding handle x 3.85" vessel diameter x 5" high. Stock number 39765.
