Fine Quality George III Mahogany Low Boy
A fine quality George III period mahogany low boy with decorative inlays and original patina C.1770. The single piece top with moulded crossbanded edge and fruitwood banding. Three drawers bellow with matching moulded edges and fruitwood stringing. Sheraton design sunburst inlays either side of the arched apron and decorative inlays above the legs. Cabriole legs to the front and rear, swept apron to the sides. Figured timbers throughout and oak drawer linings. Superb original rich colour and patination, original brass fittings. Measures 30" wide x 20" deep x 29" high. Stock number 35580.
