A fine quality George II period solid silver tankard in superb condition weighing 14.12oz, hallmarked London 1758. The heavy quality solid silver tankard with flared foot and bellied base, flared rim to the top. The sides decorated with embossed and engraved scroll design panels, each with blooms of roses to the centre. Scroll design handle set to the side with feathered top. Bears the makers mark for London silversmiths Fuller White, specialist makers of hollowware, coffee pots and tankards. This example presented in superb condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.75" diamete...r at the foot x 5.5" wide including handle x 5" high. Stock number 40014.
