Fine Quality George I Style Walnut Gaming Table
A fine quality late Victorian burr walnut fold over gaming table in George I style C.1890. The shaped top with burr veneers and crossbanded boarder, matching shaped and swept apron below. Sat on defined cabriole legs with carved shell decoration to the shoulders and pad feet to the foot. Twin gate action rear legs, the top folding over and opening to reveal a black cotton baized interior. Excellent quality and condition with a deep shine and original patina, very sturdy and useable. Measures 30" wide x 16" deep x 29" high. 30" square open. Stock number 35891.
