A fine quality George V period engraved solid silver sovereign case, hallmarked Birmingham 1911. Square form with domed sides, deep decorative engraving with polished panel to the front for initials t...o be engraved. Hanging loop to the top with push release spring loaded opening to reveal a polished interior with engine turned finish to the sovereign retaining disc. Bears the makers mark for John Thompson & Sons. Immaculate unused condition. Measures 1.25" wide x 1.25" high x 0.5" deep. Stock Number 34177.
