Fine Quality Edwardian Walnut Mantel Clock by Dent
A fine quality Edwardian period figured walnut mantle clock with brass and silvered dial by Dent of London C.1910. The bell shaped top with hinged brass carry handle. Glazed opening door to the front and moulded plinth forming the foot below. Engraved brass and silvered dial with matted centre and cast brass spandrels to the corners. The 8 day time piece movement with platform escapement made by Dent, London, in full working order. Decorative brass castings to the top and door. Bears the retailers name, Ogden, London and Harrogate. Superb quality and condition with a deep shine and original pa...tina. Measures 6.5" wide x 4.5" deep x 9.5" high. Stock number 35559.
