Fine Quality Edwardian Inlaid Mantel Clock
A fine quality Edwardian solid figured mahogany mantel clock with fruitwood inlays and 8 day French movement c.1900. The square case with swept top and shaped sides, moulded plinth to the base with small polished brass bun feet below. The front of the case strung with fruitwood, complementing decorative inlay work set below the dial. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands behind a matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement, fully restored and working. Presented in immaculate condition with a de...ep shine, fully overhauled and working. Measures 7.25" wide x 8.5" high x 3.5" deep. Stock number 39607.
