A fine quality Edwardian period 8 day inlaid mahogany Napoleon hat shaped mantle clock with fruitwood inlays C.1900. Compact proportioned case with decorative fruitwood floral swags to the front and deep original polish. Porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals sat behind a beveled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel. 8 day Swiss movement with platform escapement bearing the makers mark for Buren. Immaculate condition, fully overhauled movement. Measures 9" wide x 2.75" deep x 5.5" high.
