A fine quality Edwardian figured mahogany library book trough in George III style c.1900. Turned legs with pad feet supported by a matching turned cross stretcher. Angled book trough set above with... internal divisions to hold the books in place, moulded supports to the sides. Shelf to the top with moulded edge and figured veneers to the top. Polished to all sides for free standing if required. Presented in superb original condition with a rich polish and no breaks or repairs. Books shown are for illustrative purposes only and not for sale. Measures 36.5" wide x 15" deep x 33" high. Holds books 9" deep x 11" high with ease. Stock number 38787.
