A fine quality Edwardian English Chester silver ring box with embossed decoration and original lined interior, hallmarked Chester 1904. The heavy quality solid silver box with embossed decoration t...o the top depicting a village scene and man on horse back. Embossed scroll work to the sides and a polished silver underside. Shaped flange to the hinged lid to aid opening; the lid opens to reveal an original lined interior with peppermint velvet base and slots to the centre to hold four rings. Bears the makers mark for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes along with clear hallmarks. Superb quality and condition and unusually not an import piece. Rings shown in image for demonstration purposes only - rings sold separately. Measures 2.35" wide x 1.35" deep x 1" high. Stock number 42144.
