Fine Quality Early Victorian Writing Slope
A fine quality early Victorian serpentine topped kingwood writing slope C.1860. The two section serpentine top inlaid with kingwood and satinwood inlay strung with brass. The top folding out to reveal a pen and ink compartment and folding over to form a writing surface with green baized panel. Includes two ink wells and original working lock and key. Superb unfaded colour and polish. Measures 13.5" wide x 10.5" deep x 4.5" high. Stock number 35340.
