Fine Quality Early Victorian Mahogany Painting Easel
A fine quality early Victorian English country house mahogany picture easel c.1850. The A frame construction with carved and moulded decoration in in the Rocco style, wide support rail to the front to display the painting, adjustable rear swing leg for free standing, superb quality and detail throughout with original rich unfaded colour and polish, no damage or repairs. Measures 48" wide at the base x 72" high x 20" deep from foot to back leg. Picture display rail 4" wide x 4" deep in the well. Stock number 38181.
