Fine Quality Burr Walnut Baby Sutherland Table
A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut ' Baby Sunderland ' table sat on a gate action under carriage c.1875. Burr veneered quarter cut top with moulded edge, the leaves opening to form an oval occasional table. The carved and turned under carriage with gate action legs opening out to form a central pedestal supporting the top with decorative central column. Very sturdy and usable, presented in immaculate condition with a rich colour and deep shine. Measures closed 24" long x 6" deep x 24" high, and open 30" long x 24" deep x 24" high.
