Fine Quality Art Nouveau Inlaid Mantel Clock
A fine quality Art Nouveau inlaid mahogany cased mantel clock with 8 day French movement c.1890. The case shaped in the Art Nouveau style with moulded top forming a pediment, shaped sides and moulded foot. The front inlaid with a panel of satinwood inset with fruitwood and mother of pearl. Porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and original blued steel hands set behind a matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. The Paris made movement with platform escapement, fully overhauled and working. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 10" high x 5.25" wid...e x 3.25" deep.
