A top quality antique Victorian period wing back arm chair in George III style by Maple & Co, fully reupholstered in mink grey ribbed velvet. C.1890. High quality well shaped frame with reclined back ...and rolled over arms. Sprung base to the seat with deep padded back arms. Sat on rich solid mahogany carved cabriole legs, matching front and rear. Bears the original makers label for Maple & Co London to the base. Original horse hair upholstery and feather filled seat cushion, fully reupholstered in Pastiche crush ribbed velvet in mink grey. Measures 29" wide x 30" deep x 41" maximum height to the top of the back. Seat height 19".
