A fine quality brass cased traveling campaign barometer with engraved silvered scale C.1880. Original water gilt finished brass case with engine turned edge to the rear edge and to the bezel, hanging ...loop to the top. Superb engraved silvered scale to the aneroid movement, bears the makers name J. H.Steward, London. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass with adjustable bezel to allow marking the last reading. Full working order, immaculate condition. Measures 2.75" diameter x 1.1" deep. Stock number 34389.
