A Fine Late Victorian antique oil on canvas by well regarded artist William Mellor c.1900. Rydal Water from Loughrigg side. Superbly executed painting, very colourful, with cattle watering in the foreground. Signed William Mellor to the lower left (1851 - 1931). Inscribed to the rear by the artist. Superb condition. Sat in a quality swept timber gilt frame. Measures over all 25" wide. x 19" deep. Stock number 32901.
