A fine original oil on canvas by sought after French artist Marc Aldine (Antoine Bouvard Senior) 1870-1955. Antoine Bouvard Snr trained as an architect and often painted under the pseudonym Marc Aldin...e, one of the most highly respected artists of his time and widely acknowledged as as one of the most respected and recognised painters of Venice. This work typical of his style and painted with superb detail and depth with a wonderful warm glow. Signed by the artist to bottom right and sat in a quality swept timber gilt frame c.1920. Presented in superb condition. Measures including frame 27" wide x 23" high x 2.5" deep. Stock number CS32.
