Fine George III Period Sheraton Inlaid Stick Barometer

A Fine George III period flame mahogany Sheraton inlaid stick barometer.c.1790. Made by Manticha of London (w.1781-1805). Silvered engraved scales with vernier maker and thermometer to the side. Opening glazed case door. Hygrometer above with visible tube to the case. Broken arch pediment to the top. Turned cistern cover to the base. Satinwood inlays and fruitwood stringing throughout. Full working order. Measures 4.75" x 2.75"deep x 44"long.
