Fine George II Walnut Chest on Stand
A Fine George II period book matched veneered walnut chest on stand C.1730. Two over three drawer formation with book matched figured veneers and crossbanded edges to the drawers, broad moulded cornice above. The original stand with one long drawer and three small drawers below. The swept apron below sitting on elegant moulded cabriole legs. Decorative fretted backplate handles. Superb rich colour and excellent patina. Measures 67.5" high x 41.5" wide at the cornice x 20" deep. Stock number 35567.
