A Fine small proportioned George II period double fusee bracket clock by William Jackson of London c.1750. Figured mahogany timbers throughout the small proportioned bell top case with original brass ...carry handle to the top, matching brass lock escutcheon and pad feet. Engraved brass and silvered dial with matted centre and cast brass spandrels, engraved with the makers name. Original fretted blued steel hands. Decorative engraved back plate also bearing the makers mark. Anchor escapement to the double fusee movement striking on a bell on the hour. Fully overhauled movement. William Jackson of London is recorded as working between 1725 and 1776. Measures 13" high x 9.5" wide x 7.5" deep. Stock number 33008.
