Fine Early Victorian Rosewood Bow Fronted Glasgow Stick Barometer

A Fine Early Victorian rosewood bow fronted stick barometer.c.1850. Made by William Gardner of Glasgow (w.1846-64). Silvered engraved scale with vernier marker to the mercury action tube. Bowed glass and decorative carved top pediment. Silvered thermometer scale to the centre. Matching decorative carving to the cistern cover base. Full working order. Superb colour, condition and patina. Rare bow fronted model. Measures 4.5" x 3"deep x 41"long. Stock no.32460.
