Fine Antique Ormolu Cased French Bell Striking Mantel Clock
A Fine Late 19th Century antique ormolu cased 8 day French bell chiming mantle clock c.1890. Decorative case with leaf work feet and floral bow surround to the white porcelain dial bearing the retailers name ' Simmons' Paris & Manchester. Urn to the top with pineapple finial. Quality 8 day movement with external count wheel and bell striking on the hour and half hour. Bears the makers mark for Henri Marc, Paris. Sat on the original velvet topped timber gilt base. Superb condition and in full working order.
