Elliot London Chinoiserie Mantel Clock
A top quality 1920's 8 day mantle clock with engraved brass and silvered dial sat in a superb red chinoiserie case. Fashioned in the style of a Regency bracket clock with bell top and brass carry handle to the centre, the case finished in red lacquer and decorated with oriental style chinoiserie decoration. The brass and silvered dial sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel. The 8 day movement with platform escapement made by highly regarded maker Elliott of London, b...ears the makers name to the dial. Presented in excellent condition and in full working order. Measures 9" high x 6" wide x 3.25" deep. Stock number 38791.
