Edwardian Walnut and Chinoiserie Mantel Clock
A stylish Edwardian burr walnut mantel clock with chinoiserie decoration and 8 day French movement c.1910. The quality burr walnut veneered case with triple arched top, decorative band of chinoiserie decoration to the base of the case; small bun feet to the underside. The 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind an engine turned silvered convex dial with Arabic numerals and original blued steel hands. Matching convex glass to the front sat in a polished brass bezel. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, the movement fully overhauled and wor...king. Measures 5" wide x 3" deep x 6.5" high. Stock number 39715.
