Edwardian Swept Top Mantel Clock
A fine quality Edwardian solid mahogany swept top Mantel clock with decorative fruitwood inlays and French movement, fully serviced and working c.1910. Swept double peaked top to the solid mahogany case, decorative fruitwood flower bud ribbon swags design inlays below the dial and chequered stringing to the case edge; small polished brass bracket feet to the base. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a a matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement, fully serviced and working. Present...ed in immaculate condition with a deep shine and in full working order. Measures 5.5" wide x 3" deep x 7" high. Stock number 40005.
