Edwardian Sunflower Inlay Balloon Clock
An Edwardian 8 day inlaid mahogany balloon shaped mantel clock with sunflower design inlay to the front, fully serviced and working c.1900. The polished figured mahogany case with moulded plinth to the foot and small brass bun feet below. The front of the clock strung with fruitwood and stylised sunflower inlay sat below the dial. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands set behind a bevelled edge glass, which is mounted in a polished brass bezel. The 8 day movement with platform escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in immaculate condition wi...th a deep shine. Measures 6" wide x 3.5" deep x 8.75" high. Stock number CS285.
