Edwardian Solid Oak Tambour Front File Cabinet
An Edwardian solid light oak tambour front file cabinet with fitted interior c.1910. Moulded edge solid oak top sat over panelled sides and boarded back. Brass lock escutcheon to the top rail with key release for the falling tambour front. A short video of the falling tambour front can be viewed on our YouTube channel - click here. The tambour front opens to reveal an original fitted interior with nine file trays each with moulded solid oak front forming a handle with brass label holders. Each drawer take...s an A4 file or paper. Working lock and key. Presented in superb condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Measures 39" high x 19" wide x 16.75" deep. Trays measure 12" deep x 15" wide x 2" high internally. Stock number 40041.
