Edwardian Silver Table Top Vesta
A fine quality Edwardian solid silver table top vesta in the form of a trunk, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Oblong form with domed lid and flat base for surface standing. Striker to the side and button release catch for the lid, opens to reveal a clean interior with retaining lip to one side to hold the matches in place. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmith William Hair Haseler along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" wide x 1.25" deep x 0.5" high.
