An Edwardian period solid silver country house string canister with decorative rope design edges, hallmarked London 1903. The heavy quality solid silver cylindrical base with roped design boarder t...o the foot. Removeable push fit domed top with matching rope design boarder to the edge and aperture to the centre for feeding the string through. Country house lion crest to the lid. Opens to reveal a clean interior. Bears hallmarks to both sections and the makers mark for William Suckling Ltd. Measures 3.25" diameter x 3.25" high. Stock number 35684.
