Edwardian Silver Bottle Holder or Planter
A top quality heavy solid silver wine bottle holder or planter with lion mask handles and floral swags decoration, hallmarked London 1909. Circular form with dished base sat in a flared foot, laurel wreath rim to the top and matching decoration to the foot. Decorative cast swagged floral boarder running around the centre and lion mask ring drop handles to each side. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded retailers Goldsmith & Silversmith, along with clear hallmarks for London 1909, Weighs 323 grams. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 4" diam...eter or 5" with the handles x 4.5" high. Stock number 40061.
